Welcome to Newark Pickleball

Newark Pickleball is a social racket club for adults of all ages (18+), for all abilities and all genders. Our primary aim is to have fun and not take things too seriously but we do enjoy a competitive game too!

Playing twice a week at Suthers School in Fernwood, we are the pioneers of using the Pickleheads app in Nottinghamshire and continue to adapt and improve our sessions to keep things enjoyable and fun for all. Some of our players have gone on to play in local and even National competitions whereas others are happy to keep things more casual, either way we try to accommodate everyone.

Introducing Pickleball

Pickleball is a fun, low-impact, social sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis played both indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, over a net.

Pickleball is easy to pick up and a great way to exercise and is fast becoming one of the most popular racket sports in the world!
